Overview
Background
Măm Măm serves Vietnamese street food from two Nairobi branches, Westlands and Karen.
The challenge
Get the energy of the place across on a phone, and make a long menu across two branches easy to scan.
What we built
A poster-style page with a menu generated from one data file of both branches’ prices, filters by dish type and diet, and clear routes to order or visit.
- Bold street-poster identity in the restaurant’s colours
- Menu by dish type with both branches’ prices
- Vegetarian filter
- Ordering through each branch’s Uber Eats store
- Pinned gallery reel of the room
- Motion: split-text reveals and parallax, off with reduced motion
Screens
Public screens only. A self-initiated concept: Ares designed and built this site on its own initiative for a real Nairobi business. It was not commissioned, and the business is not a client. Photos are the business’s own public images.
