Overview
Background
ÔKIA is a Vietnamese café with branches on Riverside Drive and at Warwick Centre, Gigiri. It had no website of its own: menus and hours lived on Instagram and delivery apps.
The challenge
Two branches with different hours and prices, and a strong look (pink arches, neon, festival masks) that a generic template would flatten.
What we built
A single fast page with an identity drawn from the building itself, a menu and branch details driven by small data files so prices are easy to change, and ordering through the delivery stores customers already use.
- Arch-led visual identity taken from the café’s own architecture
- Menu and prices per branch, loaded from one data file
- Branch switcher for hours, phone and directions
- Order links to each branch’s Uber Eats store
- Sunday DJ event block that can be switched off
- Motion: arch reveals and letter-by-letter titles, off with reduced motion
Screens
Public screens only. A self-initiated concept: Ares designed and built this site on its own initiative for a real Nairobi business. It was not commissioned, and the business is not a client. Photos are the business’s own public images.
